Learning to Drive a Car is Easy in Rugby

When you first set out to learn to drive a car, you can feel the adrenaline rush. Driving can be exciting and fun if done the correct way. However, to be able to drive well, you need to learn driving from professionals. You must enroll for a manual driving lesson in Lutterworth or manual driving lesson Rugby to get hands on experience of driving.

How to learn to drive a Car

Provisional Driving License: To be able to drive a car on public roads, you need to have a provisional driving license. This is essential if you are driving for the first time. However, if you are taking private driving lessons on private land, you need not apply for the license. You can learn driving with the help of trained driving instructor Lutterworth or driving instructor Rugby.

Cockpit Drill: Before you set out to drive, you need to understand the basics of your car. You must familiarize yourself with the controls and basic functions. When you take training from any of the Rugby driving school you are familiarized with the car basics. The lessons relate to seat adjustments, hand controls like mirror adjustment and steering techniques, use of foot pedals etc. These instructions are very important for a new driver.

Drive on: When you are completely aware of all the controls and are confident of driving; start. Turn on the ignition key and press the clutch pedal. Assuming that you have learnt the cockpit drill well, it is assumed that you are aware of the pedals and the gear box. Move the gear to the first gear and slowly release the clutch pedal and push the accelerator slightly. You must maintain a balance between releasing the clutch pedal while pushing the accelerator.

Park the Car: After a while of driving slowly and steadily, you need to park the car. Before applying the brakes to stop the car, you need to check your rear view mirror for any oncoming vehicles. In addition, you also need to check where the curb is, so that you can park your car along it, without bumping into it.  Apply the brakes slowly and press the clutch pedal slowly as well. This would help you avoid the car from shutting off. When you are in the position to park, apply the brakes completely. You can now choose the neutral gear and remove your foot from the pedal.

So, you can see that driving the car is easy but you need to take the help of an instructor to be a perfect driver.
